Social Fashion:

If a change should come in the society, it should be from the youngsters and students. The fashion of an era is defined by the youngsters, we have used various types of ornaments and jewelry, just wear a ornament made up of bubblegum for a good cause, more over we can have a variety in fashion every day.

There are many social issues around the world, so we have to come up with this idea

1. Child – Labor: There are many countries, still not able to over come the child labor and poverty. If we can create a bubble gum which is as good as the other bubble gum in the market, but with a social purpose where 10% of the cost of the bubble gum goes for the social purpose of educating the children’s around the world. They pay the children with a small stipend for the creative work they give. 
2. The creative work is as simple as a art work or a sketch which a child does in their school, this art work will be uploaded by the Bubble gum team as image, these work, ie the work of the child will be voted by students around the world through the social site.
3. Based on the votes, each month few of those characters which the child has framed will be developed as the bubble gum shape. 
4. The packaging of the bubble gum will also follow the same thought. Pedants and ear rings, bangles, bracelet, necklace shaped packages will be done based on the number of bubblegum in the package. So you can wear it as a fashion, and when hungry you can chew it.
5. The gum was manufactured with a social thought, so at the back of the bubble gum a social message will be present. Save wild life, Use cycle, save world, Save world, her life in your hand Donate organs, live immortal Quit smoking, A repetitive message will hit the unconscious mind, Phase 1 - A
6. Initially to raise the fund, the art work will be done by the children and students in school and college. 
7. With the fund raised, part of it should be invested in Women Empowerment, there are women in villages, who needs a better life standards. These women may lack education, but they can compensate it with their design creativity. They can provide the package designs for the bubblegum, as being a woman they would know the designs better. Or in a simple form they can observe the things around them and convert those observations in to a design and share with the UN or any organization implementing this idea /  Panchayat system or to schools in that village. The Org / UN will make an arrangement to collect these ideas and will be uploaded to the site. 
8. The students across the world will vote for these designs, the top 1000 designs will be selected in that country and will be used for the packaging. 
9. The woman submitting the idea will be getting a stipend for their work, if their work has been selected a better stipend will be given. 
10. Other accessories like handkerchief, T-Shirts, cultural dress, bags, designer nail polish and, high heels based on water bed concept are the other products that can be developed based on the market analysis, and all these products should be designed with limited numbers to keep it as a fast moving products. The designs will be used from the women and art work of the children in the school.

Value: Social Advertisement:

1. Social cause, if child labor is addressed, poverty is reduced, better life and confident person; they are living on their own. 
2. Variety of reusable ornaments and jewelry can be created using bubble gum. 
3. with Bubblegum and candy the plastic wastes are reduced. We can create the glittering ornaments and simple black pebble like ornaments with bubblegum as it gives the same appearance of the real ornaments.
4. Creativity is retained as the children across the class will be doing the task. With a given question child thinks in various way, this is what required in future the probing skills, how are we going to face energy crisis? Food crisis? Global warming in future ? answer is think out of box that is what this idea is about.
5. Social Message as the good social message is given and the people consume a lot of bubble gum, it strikes their mind.

     Repetitive messaging.

1. As the student evaluates it, they can retain their creativity by looking the creative stuffs of the children.
2. Last but not least, we as people would have felt that we need to do social work, but couldn't do; it is an opportunity to do it by buying and ask others to buy.
3. This can be used as a designer jewelry also as it can be used as a pendant.
4. This idea can be outsourced to the existing bubble gum manufacturer. So initial investment can be reduced.
5. We are putting a smile in child and we are making empowering woman and increasing their self esteem, it is a fission process, once one woman gets empowered the confidence will drag the other woman.
6. In certain countries, girl child has been killed due to the prevailing dowry system, so in those countries we need keep the stipend for girl child higher almost 50% more than for a boy.

Points to be considered

1. Use the existing organization to full fill the ideas, UN women / UNICEF already established in many part of the world. Use them for implementation. No need to reinvent the wheels.
2.  Ensure that the idea gets patent or copyright that the idea doesn’t gets copied by someone else, even if it gets copied a part of their business should provide compensation for woman empowerment or for children benefits.
3. Some certifications should be given, which will be of value for the youngsters, to keep them motivated in social works and designs.
4. These bubblegum should be marketed in other parts of country, the developed countries and should motivate the youngsters to use them. Organization like UN and UNICEF have lot of support from celebrities use them to promote the product.
5. Use the social medias as the client is youngsters, capture their attention.

We need to check how we can present this idea as a workable idea, may be we can put this idea as we have got from brainstorming with a set of students.
